Stories Causing Atlas to Shrug, February 13th Edition

Study: 86% of young people would be better off opting out of ObamaCare. As the penalty rises, that number drops to 66% in 2019.

The U.S. Department of Education has released the findings of a 10-year study that reveal almost one in four - 22.6 per cent - of 26-year-olds are still living with their parents.

The Obamacare subsidy cliff is so steep that if you earn just $1 above the threshold, you could end up paying anywhere from a few thousand dollars to $20,000 more for insurance, depending on your age.

The average marginal tax rate in the U.S. economy is now 47% — meaning that workers get to keep a little more than half of what they earn.
