With Armstrong & Getty on April 1st Re: Obamacare's Sign-up Numbers, Why The Narrow Networks & The Face of Obesity

I had a brief April Fools' Day visit with Armstrong and Getty this morning.

Segment Notes:
  • When bureaucrats define healthcare this woman is borderline obese & can be penalized (Pic on right.)
  • Half of callers to California's health insurance exchange in February and March couldn't get through and hung up without getting help, state figures show.
  • Between Medicaid and the private exchanges, that makes 6.5 million previously uninsured Americans who have now gained coverage. The CBO projected that the law would reduce the number of uninsured by 13 million.
  • The beginning of the death spiral: game over
  • The individual mandate is useless.  And here.

Odds and Ends:
  • Playlist of my 2014 appearances on Armstrong and Getty.
  • Playlist of my 2013 appearances on Armstrong and Getty.
  • All Armstrong and Getty Podcasts can be heard here.
